Apple picking (U-pick) is open from mid-August to mid-October at most orchards and cider mills. More than 22 varieties of apples are offered through pick your own or purchase them already picked at the farm stand. Along with all of the different varieties of apples available through U-pick and at the farm stands, you can also find many fresh products made with apples: fresh apple doughnuts, delicious apple pies, freshly-pressed apple cider as well as the very popular ice ciders.
